We understand that gifts to charities such as the American Battlefield Trust can be an important part of your clients’ overall financial and estate plans. That’s why we’re committed to working with you to ensure that your clients find the charitable arrangements that best meet their needs. We believe that charitable planning is a process that ideally involves the donor, professional advisors and our gift planning staff—all working together to arrange the best gift possible.
Please contact Meaghan K. Hogan at mhogan@battlefields.org to request a hard copy of The American Battlefield Trust’s Guide to Legacy Giving for you to give to any clients you may have that are interested in leaving a gift to the American Battlefield Trust. You can also find a library of planning resources here.
Note: If your clients have already listed our predecessor organizations (e.g. Civil War Preservation Trust, Civil War Trust, etc.) that gift will be designated to the American Battlefield Trust. However, your clients can designate their gift to preserve land associated with certain wars such as the Civil War.
